BF Design Build is a Seattle-based design-build firm focused on creating thoughtful, enduring multifamily and mixed-use housing. We bring architecture and construction together under one roof, offering a seamless process from concept to completion. Our team guides each project through feasibility, design, permitting, and construction with a focus on collaboration, craftsmanship, and community impact.
Our design studio is led by Tri M. Ly, a licensed architect with nearly 15 years' experience in architecture and real estate development.
His career spans high-impact work across the Pacific Northwest and the Mountain West, with a particular focus on multifamily housing. He has worked at well-regarded design firms including Olson Kundig, Hewitt, Board & Vellum, and Pivot North Architecture.
Tri brings a unique perspective to BF Design Build, combining deep design expertise with hands-on development insight. He is adept at delivering both creative vision and practical execution for mixed-use, affordable, and market-rate housing projects.
